It is our plan to provide a brief, concise synopsis and brief video on well over 100 Minimally Invasive Surgery procedures and a Technology Spotlight highlighting new techniques to allow both patients and physicians to initiate their web based information gathering. We wish to complement the thorough, unabridged information found in the Surgical Society online information sources of S.A.G.E.S., S.L.S., A.C.S. and related surgical subspecialty and medical societies by being focused on Minimally Invasive procedures as compared to commercial sites such as WebMD.com or OR-live.com. We are now offering free registration for physicians to highlight their Minimally Invasive related practices ($250 value) as we begin to construct our site. Once established, a small monthly maintenance fee will be determined. We are also soliciting corporate sponsors that work in allied Healthcare Industries that want their product to be associated with a site that bridges the gap of Academic, Community and Military medicine. Our goal is to first be a credible, academically founded resource while remaining simple and to the point. With member and corporate support we hope to be self maintained.
